Kingsmen Silver

Kingsmen is an older maker that you don’t see very often. They made a variety of sizes and styles, although information on this company is hard to come by. When found they are typically the 5 oz class extruded version pictured below. The Pure Silver mold is very scarce and pictured below. I have seen a few 10 oz poured examples and 1 oz silver rounds made by Kingsmen Silver. They are highly collectible pieces and command healthy premiums.

This Pure Silver was a commonly used mold, but very few Kingsman examples exist. I’ve seen one other.

  2. I was handed down one of these bars as an heirloom from my grandfather, and this is the first time I’ve found ANY information on it. Mine looks just like the 4.95 oz bar above, except mine is 5.29 oz. Do you know where I would even begin to get more info on these? Or how/where to sell them? Not that I want to, but it would be useful to know! Thanks so much.

    1. Info on this company is few and far between. I collect Kingsmen and trying to find information is almost non existent. Thankfully the gentlemen that has created this website has helped identify a lot of bars where people who that collect can come and do a bit of research.

  3. I wish I can upload a picture of the bar I have. Less than 10 known to exist. I have 1. I know where a second bar is. But he won’t sell it.. 😦
