After years of collecting and seeing how few resources are available to those interested in learning more about vintage poured silver bars, I decided to give this blogging thing a try. The mission of this site is to provide an overview with examples of the many refiners that one may come across when purchasing or researching old silver bars. We won’t limit this to poured bars, but will include all types of vintage pieces from poured and pressed bars to extruded and silver “smalls” (1, 2, 3 oz and 100 gram). We may even add some vintage rounds into the site at some point. Regardless, we hope you will find this site useful. Any input would be welcome on ways to improve the experience here.
